MM 223 - Don't Wait for Holidays to Practice Gratitude
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
For me, this day marks the start of the holiday season - a time to pause, reflect, and feel grateful for what we have.
But here's the thing: we can't wait for holidays to practice gratitude, kindness, and appreciation. Those need to be part of our everyday lives, not saved for special occasions.
In this quick episode, I'm sharing why I practice gratitude daily in my journal, express love to the people I care about regularly (not just on holidays), and look for ways to delight my clients and audience throughout the year.
Your challenge: Write down three things you're grateful for today and share them with me. YOu can message me on IG https://www.instagram.com/maggie.perotin.s2l/ or LinkedIN https://www.linkedin.com/in/maggie-perotin-business-and-leadership-coach/
Maybe this becomes the start of a daily gratitude practice for you.
And if you've been thinking about working with me, stay tuned - something special is coming (only this week for my e-mail list and social media followers s- so make sure you're one of them :)).
Let's make gratitude a daily practice, not just a holiday tradition.
Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians!
For me, Canadian Thanksgiving always marks the start of the holiday season. And I love this time of year - the pause, the reflection, spending time with loved ones, feeling grateful for what we have.
But here's what I've learned: we can't wait for holidays to practice gratitude, kindness, and appreciation.
Those things need to be woven into our everyday lives, not saved for special occasions.
I practice gratitude every single day in my journal. I express my love and appreciation to the people I care about regularly - not just on birthdays or holidays.
With my clients, I look for ways to delight them and show gratitude for their trust throughout the year, not just at Christmas. (And honestly? I'm terrible at sending Christmas cards anyway.)
With my audience - with you - I try to create value every single time we connect. And occasionally, I come up with something special, like free events or resources, because I genuinely appreciate you being here.
Here's my challenge for you today:
Take a moment right now and write down three things you're grateful for. Then share them with me in the comments or send me a message - I'd love to hear them.
And maybe, just maybe, this becomes the start of a daily practice for you. Expressing gratitude. Showing appreciation. Not waiting for the "right moment."
One more thing: if you've been thinking about working with me and waiting for the right moment, I'm creating something special just for you. Stay tuned.
Happy Thanksgiving. Let's make gratitude a daily practice, not just a holiday tradition.
