Tomorrow is November 11th. Remembrance Day here in North America. It's also a Polish Independence Day. It's a day when we honor the veterans and those who fought for our freedom. And every year it reminds me of my maternal grandfather. He fought in the Polish clandestine army during war during World War II.

He saw horrors most of us can't even imagine. But despite everything he experienced, he remained one of the most positive, generous people I've ever known. He was a true servant leader. He spent most of his retirement serving in local municipal government, always looking for ways to help people and to make his community better.

He has been my inspiration my entire life, and as I reflect on his legacy, every year I think about what he fought for Freedom, community, a better future for everybody. So it makes me ask, what are you fighting for in your business? Because knowing what you stand for, how you want to help your clients, and the positive impact you want to make in their lives, that's not just a nice to have.

That's the foundation of your brand. This is what creates loyalty. See, you can have satisfied customers. Who never come back. They got what they needed, they're happy, and then they have no emotional connection to you. So they'll go somewhere else next time and still be satisfied. But loyal customers, they come back over and over.

They refer their friends, they become advocates for your brand because they feel emotionally attached to what you stand for. So how do you create that by getting crystal clear. On how you want your clients to feel when they work with you, the experience you create for them, short term and long term. Why you do what you do and how that shows up in every interaction you have with them.

That clarity. That is your competitive advantage. So here is my challenge for you this week as we approach Remembrance Day and as the new year gets closer. Get clear on what you're fighting for in your business. What do you stand for? How do you want to impact your client's lives? What experience do you want to create that makes them feel connected to your brand?

My grandfather fought for freedom and served his community with purpose. What will you legacy be in your business? I'm Maggie Perotin with Maggie's Moment. Make it a great week.
