One Shift Turns Slow Business Seasons Into Your Biggest Growth - MM 243
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Are you experiencing a slower season in your service business?
Don’t settle in. Use it to spark your next wave of growth. This one mindset shift can turn downtime into your best opportunity yet.
Ready to get moving? Tune in now!
No one talks about it when you start your business, but there will be seasons when things slow down sometimes for reasons totally outside of your control. That's exactly what came up in my diamond effect group last week.
One of my clients said, I feel sluggish, business is quieter, and I just wanna lie down and scroll on my phone. And honestly, I get it. I've been there too.
But this is where I had one of the biggest aha moments in my business, and that changed everything for me. When I realized that when things slow down, it's not a sign to hit pause on your ambition, but in fact, it's the best time to get yourself back in motion. And why? Because as per Newton's first law of physics, an object at rest remains at the rest.
And an object in motion remains in motion. So if you want your business to get out of the lull, you have to stay in motion. That's why when things are slow; yes, totally enjoy the breather, but don't let yourself slip into complacency. Use this time to test new things in your marketing. Experiment.
Get creative and have fun because when you're busy with clients, you rarely have time for that. Dive also into those big picture CEO projects you're always putting off. The ones that will move your business forward long term. That's what I coach my clients to do, and that's what I do for myself as well.
When business is slower, I don't just wait for things to pick up. I use this time to plant more seeds, to work on strategic projects, build new skills, and set myself up for the next wave of growth. So if you're feeling sluggish or your business is a bit quiet right now. Don't just settle in. Use this as your window to experiment, strategize, and get yourself moving again because the best momentum is the one you create no matter what season your business is in.
Happy Monday.
