In this Maggie's Moment, I'm getting real about fear in entrepreneurship: what it actually is, why waiting for it to go away is keeping you stuck. Then I share three practical steps to help you move forward anyway.

Every time you grow, every time you reach for the next level, you'll face something you've never done before. Your brain won't love it. But the business owners who get where they want to go aren't the ones born fearless; they're the ones who learn to move forward anyway.

Nobody talks about this enough, but the real secret to success in entrepreneurship isn't strategy. It's actually the ability to do things while you're scared. Here is what I know after years of building my own business and coaching hundreds of entrepreneurs. Fear never fully goes away. Every time you grow, every time you reach for the next level, you will encounter something you've never done before, and your brain will not love that. So waiting until you feel confident, until the fear disappears, it's actually putting you at a standstill. Because confidence does not come before action, it comes because of it And the business owners who get where they want to go aren't the ones without fear. They're the ones who learn to move forward anyway. So today, I wanna share with you three things that will help you do exactly that The first is developing self-awareness, learning to recognize the moment fear shows up because it rarely announces itself as fear. Often it shows up as procrastination, as suddenly being very busy with other things and not having time for the thing you're scared of, but that's actually the thing that takes it to the next level. It also shows up as convincing yourself it's not the right time yet. So when you notice that happening, pause And then remind yourself that whatever your brain is offering you to justify that feeling, it's not the truth. It's actually just your brain doing its job, trying to protect you from the unknown, but it's not a real threat. It's just growth knocking on your door. The second thing is to actually feel the fear instead of running from it. When you allow yourself to sit with the feeling, really acknowledge it, you process it faster. You signal to your nervous system that you're safe, and from that place, taking action becomes possible. So don't fight the fear. Feel it, and then move And then the third is this, decide that you're a courageous person. Not someday, now. Because all you need to take action is a little bit of courage, and I guarantee you have already done hard and scary things in your life. You've already proven it to yourself. So own that identity. Tell yourself, "I am someone who can do hard things. I am someone who can do scary things." That belief is what carries you through the next scary step, and the one after that, and the one after that So don't think that you need to be fearless, that if you feel fear, there's something wrong with you Doing things scared actually isn't a weakness. It's the skill that separates the entrepreneurs who build something remarkable from the ones who stay stuck. And when you look back at everything you've built The hard conversations you had, the offers you launched, the risks you took, that's where the pride lives And the fear was always part of the journey. So just lean into it. Happy Monday
